Inquiry Regarding Missed Call Due to Possible Network Issue

EddieJ

Dear Public Mobile Customer Service,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am writing to inquire about a call I received from [Caller Name] on [Date and Time]. I am an iPhone user and I did not receive any notification on my phone—no ringing, vibration, or screen alert—even though my device was nearby and not on Do Not Disturb mode. Later, I was able to see the call in the call log.

Could you please confirm if it is possible for a call to appear in the call log without triggering a notification due to a network issue? Any information or clarification you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,
Ed

@EddieJ did you see the calls on the Usage History page?

https://myaccount.publicmobile.ca/en/account/plan/usage-details

All calls reached PM network, even not reached your phone, would appear there.

If you don't see it there, that means the call did not reach PM network at all, it was lost at the source network

I often receive iPhone voice messages without prior notification of an incoming call thanks to cellular dead zones within my area of coastal BC

Hi

Please note this is not Public Mobile customer service,  but the community of users like yourself.

I have service with another provider other than Public Mobile and there are many times when I receive a voicemail from a number that is not listed in my call logs.  No notifications,  no miss calls.

I find that these calls are solicitations, surveys, PMs, spams. I don't know this is the same you are experiencing.
