Incorrect Phone Number entered

I was setting up my phone number to transfer from another provider and i accidentally entered the number incorrectly. It looks like someone out there tried to help by adding the correct phone number and I am able to verify that phone number but then, the other phone number comes up and I cannot verify it.  I need help.

Have you activated your sims card?

and when you login, the 2FA will still default to sending it to the old number.  Click Didn't receive code and choose send email 

after you logged in, go to Profile Page, click Manage Eversafe ID and check if the phone number, update it if necessary

I was able to change phone number in profile but message says it won’t appear until I login again.

If your old SIM still works then porting was not completed. You will need the help from a CS_Agent.

@Graeme3 Are you able to log in to your account at all?  If you can, check the phone number in your Eversafe profile and make sure it's the right one.  I'm not certain from your description whether the number was fully ported, when you say the other number comes up, where does it come up?
