Incoming calls not working, "cellular number not assigned"

I set up my new Public Mobile SIM and everything works fine except I cannot receive calls. Anyone who calls me gets the error, "this cellular number you have called is not assigned".

Please someone help me
I ported my phone from Wind since yesterday and my incoming calls not working
I sent may emails/comments but it seems no ine in PM doesn't care to look at the account. They already charged my credit card and took money and who cares I am getting service or not
My husband wanted to switch I told him not to do that because the service is awful and no one to answer

Both my sister and dad are having exact same problem.

I need my number ported properly too. Everything works except when people try to call me it does not go through!!!

It appears as though the port did not process properly, would you please send me your ported number and the account number associated ? I'll complete the port for you.

Also, I just tried calling another phone from mine in the same local calling area (area code 226) and it doesn't go through, it just hangs up after 2 rings.  It's fine calling to other area codes.

When I make an outgoing call the proper number (the one I ported) shows up on the call display at the other end.

When you make an outgoing call which number shows up on the call display of the person you are calling? Does this number correspond to the number that you wanted to port from your previous carrier?

It's been like this since Friday (3 days).

I ported the number.  I just tried removing the SIM and rebooting (twice).  Same issue still.

Outgoing calls work, data works, it's just incoming calls that don't.

Have you re-booted the phone (including pulling the sim for a few minutes and re-inserting it)? 

 

Or sometimes it just takes a bit of time working its way through the system... 

 

If still the same tomorrow, let us know, might need moderator intervention.

Did you port in your number? Or did you sign up with new number?

 

Try removing the sim and rebooting your phone.
