In the US with roaming subscription can't make calls!

Very frustrating 

I'm in the US and unable to make any calls!

I have the Canada/ US  roaming package. 

Have restarted my phone

My wife has same  issue  and had same package 

So very frustrating!!

what make / model is your cell as not all will work in USA as they've shut down the 3G required for talk and now you must have a VoLTE enabled cell that's recognised by Public Mobile as not all are. Here's some reading and a device checker at bottom of page...

Also...as long as you have Roaming enabled in the settings on your cell, you should be able to use data / text.  You can use WhatsApp to make / rec calls from anyone who also has the free  WhatsApp on their cell. TextNow is another free option...just need to select a free Cdn number to call/text and it also uses your data or local wifi.
