Hi there,
I am in Europe, only realizing this company does not cover international texts.
I need to access my money via my banking by sending a text using 2FA.
My solution is to switch providers as I cannot see another way around it. I need Public mobile to send their 2FA using email instead of sms, is this possible?
Any help, direction, solution welcome as I cannot access my money which is obviously a massive issue.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Thanks to everyone for your suggestions.
I contacted the bank and I can work around the current situation by calling them via Skype when I need to make purchases.
Have a safe and happy holidays - to you all.

@siegejanko that's a tough one. Most banks no longer send sends codes via email.. especially if the email address is not already on file. Even more so you are not in the country. Big red flag.
Should you decide to switch provider, you will also need to get an SMS from PM.
Good luck

@siegejanko , some banks such as CIBC uses push notification option to send 2FA codes instead of SMS. An alternative would be to add a VOIP number to your bank profile and have 2FA go to that number.

Sorry, but there isn't any way to receive the 2FA code from your bank through SMS using your Public Mobile phone number. You'll need to arrange with your bank to have the code sent to a different phone number ot to e-mail.

@siegejanko, I would try reaching out to your bank and ask them if they can send the 2FA through email
