If I add a voucher to my account will it be used instead of my credit card?

Hello,

My credit card was compromised and I am not going to get a new one in time for my next payment.

If a buy a voucher in a store and load it to my account, will it be charged instead of my credit card?

Like, are vouchers used as first payment method even when there is auto-pay setup with a CC?

I hope the bank didn't just chargeback everything...including here. If so then you'll be in a bit of hurt for a while having to pay with vouchers. But if they haven't done anything yet then make sure they can selectively chargeback the wrong ones and leave the right ones...this one.
