I wanted to change my current plan online but the website crashed. Could someone help me?

@linhz0hz

The only plan thats province wide that is "cheaper" is the $15 because pm eliminated the canada wide version. All of the canada wide plans are currrently the same price as the province wide ones....even if and when they raise the price $5 you will be grandfathered into the old "cheaper" price until you choose to change it. If you have any of the province wide plans $25+ schedule a plan change on next renewal for the equivalent canada wide plan at the same price and if they fo go up $5 you will get the cheaper price. If you currently have a canada wide plan and you are scheduled to change to a province wide one you can cancel it at anytime up until your renewal.

In fact I was trying to switch to the cheaper province-wide plan. But private messaging a community moderator works and he/she switched it for me. Now when I check online, the plans are properly showing so it should work now. Thank you all for the help.

@darlicious Could be... Thats what I was thinking.

maybe there taking down the province wide plans.... I dont see Lucky following along and Koodo ditched the idea of it. It might not happen. I think it just looks good for PM to advertise it as a *limited time offer* so users flock to activate. Its been a month and we still have the "sale"

@BearFBI

Maybe the price raise is imminent.....

Having the same issue with the blank plan page. Not sure whats up with all these bugs between the community and selfserve.

I down know why the plan page goes blank sometimes.

@kbehr

Yay! Seems the glitches have moved to the community today but you did manage to reply.

I ran into the same issue today, and I was able to use chrome incognito and the plans loaded for me which worked!!

I just checked my account and my plans page won't load either. So I guess it's depending on each individuals account.

Still fine. Scheduled a change. Doesn't help of course. Just that the system is not down entirely.

I know that this is especially true when the self serve site won't load at all/is blank. The incognito mode seems to bypass whatever the problem is, but time seems to solve all, whether something automatically gets reset or if Public Mobile had something work on it.

When I was looking around in my account yesterday, I was debating a plan change but my account was doing the blank plan detail nonsense.  For that situation, I don't believe that incognito mode can get around that, but it doesnt' hurt to try.

@linhz0hz

When you say that it crashed, do you mean the site won't load at all, the plan details and available plan page is blank, or you getting some "oh no, don't panic" error message?

@linhz0hz

This option was unavailable earlier (& still is from what i can see)

The Plan Change option does not populate available plans to select as if PM is doing site maintenance or something?

If you cannot get this to function, I would ask the Public Mobile moderators to schedule a plan change for you since the self-serve function is not allowing you to do this at this time.  Here's the available plans:  Plans (publicmobile.ca)

And here's how to contact them:

  1. Use the ticketing system for a faster response time. Click here and type moderator assistance, then select account-related issue, then select you need a human now.  Follow the prompts to submit a ticket,  or,
  2. Send a private message to the moderator by clicking here  You’ll need to be logged into your Community account for the link to work.

Watch for their response in your Community private mailbox which will be indicated by a number on the small envelope icon to the left of your Community avatar.

It might not be a great day to do these things today.   There have been many different issues with the sites today according to many posts.

Maybe try again tomorrow.

@linhz0hz now what did you do?  just kidding!!!!!!!!!!  😂

We think that Public Mobile are doing some maintenance in the background as we have been experiencing some strange things all day.  Try again tomorrow.

Before you try again, please clear your browser and cache first.  Use a different browser and if necessary, go into incognito mode.

Good night

It's been fine on my Firefox browser.

 @linhz0hz : Perhaps try a different browser or clear cache/site cookies or as mentioned try incognito/private mode.

Is your current plan expiring tonight?

@linhz0hz Try using the new Edge Chromium with incognito browsing mode. There seems to be some issue with loading the self-serve properly using any other browser.

I've read about some people having problems today.  I had some issues with self serve yesterday. If the plan change isn't time sensitive, I would recommend simply trying again at a later time.
