Hi all
I was running out of data this past weekend. I added $30 and purchased an extra 1 GB of data. That did not work . . I still could not access any website.
I added another $30 and got 1 GB of data. . . within the same day, I received a message that I am 95% finished with that data add-on. REally weird. . . .there is no way I blew through almost 1 GB of data in a day.
I then used the *611 on my phone to pay $40 to get more data. .. this finally worked. But yesterday I received notice that I am almost out of that data as well!!! There is absolutely NO WAY I am consuming data this quickly in less than 3 days!!
What is going on here? I have now deposited $100 for a measly 1 GB of data. There is something wrong with PUblic Mobile system or I am getting scammed
Moderators, ,, please advise. I don't mind paying $30 for 1 GB of data .. . but $100?!!!

@pakmode yes, but if the OP doesn't figure out what is using up all their data so quickly, then it's going to be expensive regardless.

You might be better off just renewing your plan earlier OP.
That way your data will completely reset.

Nope. Only $10 in available funds after I plunked down $100 in total

@mctjandr Sorry to hear of your issues.
What does your phones data usage say?
also as a fyi you can ask mods to renew your plan early instead of buying data addons. sometimes it is cheaper especially if you are close to your renewal date.

@mctjandr, sorry to hear about this. There have been some issues lately with the addon purchase system. Do you have a balance in Available Funds? Witht he issues the system has been facing lately addon purchases were only going through if you had contacted a MOD or used the *611. Hopefully you will still have $70 in Available funds meaning the addon was only purchased and processed once and the remaining will be available for your next renewal.
