I'm unable to see au subscriptions under $20/month.

I used to subscribe to a plan that was $15/month. I want to go back to it as I don't need as much data anymore, but it no longer shows as an option. My husband's account, which has never upgraded from the $15/month plan, show an additional subscription options at $18/month that I can't see either.

I was on a $15 plan and never elected to change it but I have been informed that I will be paying $19 this month.

Also, seems like the only bill credit reward is the $20, also at the time of this change.

It seems that Public/Telus does not want to be competitive in the space anymore.

@sjack93

Just to add further information. Your husband should have received a text recently about the price increase coming up for all the grandfathered plans $15 coming up on October 30 to $18/month.  If your husband sees a better lower cost plan, he may want to future date the plan change.  Some $15 plan customers have been offered $18 plan with more data, but customers need to change themselves.

As mentioned, Public mobile only offers select customized plans to existing customers.  It is difficult to move to lower cost plans (not impossible).  Some customers have been able to slowly move down to lower cost plans over many months, but you will need to check your account on a regular basis to see what plans are available  to you specifically.

@sjack93  The days of switching plans back and forth based on your needs are long gone. Once you go up and pay more there is no way to downgrade. People that have the 15$/18$ plans can keep them. The only plans you can change to are the ones that show up in the app under "change subscription". Of course you could always port your number out for a month and back in, as a new customer you would have access to the current cheapest plan on their site, the 20$ plan.
