I have no cellphone service! Is there an outage right now?

No service in Hamilton either. Said no service first then now it says public mobile, but can't send texts or call anyone. Not impressed

Same thing happened to me. It says no service. I tried to restart the phone, it took a really long time searching for a network but then went to “no service” my husband’s PM phone is working fine. Just a minute ago it did change to say public mobile but still no actual signal.

Its actually a Telus issue.. and since Bell is not down, its unlikely to be a tower/signal related.

Never mind. Someone else said Telus is reporting an issue. It's not listed on their site though for Toronto.

Performing a manual scan, the network is there. My phone even connects to but will not do anything but 9-11 calls (no, I did not actually dial it and everyone, please don't try). My phone stays in Emergency Calls Only mode.

Down for all 3 public mobile phones in our home as well. I can’t find anything online saying PM is having an outage.

My work cell is with Bell and it works fine. I am assuming Bell/Telus shares towers so it looks like a public mobile issue.

Unfortunately, the moderators would be some of the last people to know about this as employees of cell phone companies often are not customers of the service itself.  I have informed Public Mobile staff of the issue.

It is kind of nice to have my work phone not ringing in my ear right now. It's with Telus here in Ontario

Looks like my service is back.  LTE connection.  

Outage lasted approx 15 minutes.

I'm all the way over in Winnipeg with the same problem, so something funky is certainly happening.
