Will this phone work in Canada?
NETWORK
Technology | GSM / HSPA / LTE / 5G |
2G bands | GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 - SIM 1 & SIM 2 |
3G bands | HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1700(AWS) / 1900 / 2100 |
4G bands | 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 17, 20, 26, 28, 32, 34, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 66 |
5G bands | 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 28, 38, 41, 66, 77, 78 SA/NSA/Sub6 |
Speed | HSPA 42.2/5.76 Mbps, LTE-A (CA) Cat20 2000/200 Mbps, 5G |
These are the specs on GSMArena, But, the Phone is Only available to buy in US, But Amazon.ca has a Refurbished one, But, my concern is whether Phone will work in Canada
Now, When it comes to the Bands and stuff, Canada & US Bands should be compatible correct?
If, example, if let's say you cross border for, Vacation, or Grocery Shopping, Car breaks down. or something, a working phone would super important

Just inquiring
Moto G100 (128GB, 8GB) 6.55" 90Hz, Dual SIM Euro 5G /Global 4G LTE GSM Unlocked (T-Mobile/AT&T/Metro) International Model XT2125-4 (HDMI + Fast Car Charger Bundle, Iridescent Ocean) (Renewed)
Will This Specific Moto G100 Model work on the 5G as well in Canada, in Theory? Besides the 4G LTE
Also, just wondering, When is Canada planning to phase OUT the 3G Network?
I know in the US it's Happening
If in Canada that occurs too, What will happen with PM Network?
Unless PM's Telus HSPA+ 4G/ LTE is the Network and the 3G is not an Issue
Just inquiring
I do hope though, PM can do more with the 4G LTE and eventually 5G, Plus, using the Wi-Fi as a means to call out too, as more options needed to help keep services perfect, and Bills efficient

Yes the Moto G100 will work on PM with 850 and 1900 on G3 and B4 on 4G/LTE.

As long as phone can handle PM/Telus frequencies, it should work.

3G = WCDMA = UMTS = HSPA. 4G = LTE
Minimum recommended phone specs:
3G UMTS/W-CDMA/HSPA: B2 (1900) and B5 (850)
4G FDD-LTE: B4 and B12
Telus current LTE bands are (in order of band number):
B2 (1900 MHz or PCS)
B4/B66 (2100 MHz or 1700 MHz or AWS / AWS-1)
B5 (850 MHz or CELLULAR / CLR)
As of March 2021, B5 is no longer available in urban Manitoba (Winnipeg and Brandon)
B7 (2600 MHz or 2500 MHz or BRS)
B12/B17 (700 MHz or MBS)
B13 (700 MHz or MBS)
B29 (700 MHz or MBS), for downlink only (SCC for CA only)
B30 (2300 MHz or WCS), for TELUS only (not shared with Bell at this time)

This phone having the specs I like, RAM being big, Snapdragon in the 800 block, Adreno Chip 650
Compared to Moto One 5G Ace
Or
TCL 20 5G Pro
