@gajan1987, on the Public Mobile end, you are required to keep the account active. It is on the Rogers end that all the heavy lifting is done. In your new Rogers account, you will be submitting the porting information. If there is failure, you need to go to your new provider for assistance. Public Mobile cannot assist with porting out.

Try logging into self-serve (You should NOT be able to). If you do, check if there's any issue popping up in your account.
The account closes when the port is successful. The OP implies that that is not the case, so access to the account is still available.
Yeah I meant that he shouldn't be able to if it's ported out. I was implying the ideal situation.

Is your Public Mobile account active? As in you can use all the paid for functions and it's not in suspension?
All accounts need to be active and in good standing to allow for a successful port-out.
If you need to re-activate just for porting you could do so on the $10 plan.
Also make sure that the account number is correct, including the 10000000xxxxxx.
