I ported a number to public mobile yesterday from Sasktel. The port is complete. I can make calls on the number. I cannot send or receive text messages. 

@ Support please help.

Please do not provide any of your account information to the username of Support as "Support" is not staffed by Public Mobile employees.  

As for your number porting being complete, did you receive a text message informing you of that?  Public Mobile's system have long been misinforming customers that porting has been "successful" even though the porting process had just began.  That on-screen message by the activation/self serve system only means that the request has been submitted.    Are you able to receive phone calls from non-Telus customers?

Can you actually Receive calls? Usually calling out works but everything else not if porting is not successful.

Public Mobile is dealing with issues when it comes to SMS on Android and iMessages and FaceTime and such. There is no ETA of when it will be resolved. Here is their announcement.

We are aware that some of you are currently unable to successfully use iMessage and or FaceTime features,  and we understand how frustrating this can be. Our teams are working diligently to find the cause. 

In the meantime, please try troubleshoot steps:
Tap Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and will continue to keep you updated.
