I did a number transfer 2 days ago and I still can't make phone calls. My husband did the same yesterday and has the same problem

what phone do you have?
did you remove your old sim card yet? or dsiable old esim? then enable PM sim (turn on "Turn on this line" on iPhone) and set the label to Primary. Next, Reboot phone and click Reset network settings and test
if same, ask PM agent to help to reset the account on the system. You can submit ticket by direct message:
