It turned out I had a personal and private phone number. Both the same but I switched them around. One off the other on and I had cellular. I am still confused but I can get on cellular and send text again. My account was only activated yesterday.

is that physical sim or esim?
remove your the physical sim of your old provider, or disable the old esim, reboot phone and Reset network settings
