I am only able to use the website successfully in Private Mode?

Hi guys, new user here!

Right now the only way I can connect to my self serve account is through private mode.

I just wanted to ask if others had a problem connecting onto the website when NOT using private mode? And if some experienced this issue, what worked to resolve it?

For context I am using Firefox as my browser.

Thanks!

That is the recommended way....private/incognito along with clearing cache.

Is that a recommendation pertaining to the public mobile community website specifically or your own personal preference while web-browsing?

This is my own experience from using self service for Public Mobile and have seen it mentioned in numerous threads in this community.

Yeah I think I will try a different browser, maybe test with and without some add-ons and clearing the cache (add-ons and cache/history are the only things that would be different that I'm aware).

I'm not sure how to answer without quoting an answer but thanks to all the responses, that was definitely quicker than I expected!

Hi @alexistats

You should be able to access self-serve with or without incognito modes.

Usually, incognito is recommended when a record of a failed or aborted attempt at something triggers a hold or lock on something by Public Mobile's systems.

I've never had to go incognito just to log into self-serve.

@alexistats , a lot of customers seem to have issue and need to resort to incognito (private) mode.  Personally, I have never had to do this.  I use both Chrome and Firefox.

You could try a different browser. Also, clearing your browser's caches would also be a good idea. Ocassionally, when the self serve website isn't properly,  using the the self serve site only works when using a browser in incognito mode. Otherwise, when there are issues, selfserve.publicmobile.ca tends to load a blank page during those times.
