There's not much you can do.
It'll start NOW, and expire in 15 days.
You might try your luck with the customer support group to see if they can 'void' the transaction and place the purchase value on your available funds.
This way, you can repurchase it before you leave for the US.
To contact a Customer Support Agent, there are 2 methods:
Watch for their response in your Community private mailbox which will be indicated by a number on the small envelope icon to the left of your Community avatar.

Unfortunately, there isn't any way to set a start date for an add-on. All add-ons start immediately upon purchase.
