Trying to buy an I-Phone 8 Plus and while the price says $209, when I select it, it changes to $249.

Public Mobile CPO devices are rated into 3 categories:

Like-new:
Someone opened the box on these phones and then changed their mind: it’s as close to perfect as you can get with a pre-owned phone.

Great:
These phones are just a couple of nicks and scuffs shy of perfect, but have passed all inspections and are the best opportunity for a great phone on a budget.

Very Good:
These phones were well loved by someone - and now they’re ready for someone new! We took care of the buffing and cleaning, and while they may still have bumps and scratches they work perfectly well.

While user experience may vary, we acquired a "Very Good" condition iPhone XR over a year ago, and I can say it has been an excellent operating device with no glitches and 95%+ battery health.

I can't say others have had the same experience, however this "Very Good" condition phone really is very good.

Remember, they do have a 30 refund policy, and a 1-year warranty, so you're somewhat covered.  Just be sure to give the device a good go-over when acquired within the first couple of weeks to ensure you are within the 30 day period in case you wish to return.

The $249 price is for Great condition phone.  While the $209 price is for Good condition phone.  If you just the Good condition tab, you will get the lower price.
