Hello guys anybody knows what would be the procedure of keeping Public Mobile account active so it could be taken over by somebody else if the original owner wants to port his Public Mobile number to another provider? It's just a waste to let the promotional plan let go. Thanks.

hi i believe that PM will do it, it is your number fido did it for me, you are not trying to steal a PM number, just tell them that was port by mistake , they want your bussiness
the only problem that i fore see is the wait until a mod assign you a new number

Of course it's technically possible, but that's not really the issue. The question is really whether Public Mobile will do it.

The very second that phone number is ported out, the Public Mobile account gets closed.
While Public Mobile could let you activate a new line on a new account, you would need a new sim card, I can't see Public Mobile giving you the promotional plan. You would be considered the same as every other new customer.

Not possible. New person can take over your account and phone number though.

port out generally cancels your account, so I think your ask is not possible
