How to black-list a stolen phone?

Hi, dose any body know how to black-list a stolen phone?

You will need to contact your carrier and request that it be blacklisted via the IMEI. I know you can report a handset lost via the website when you log in. As for proof that the handset is yours to actually blacklist I am assuming that the IMEI has to attached to your account.
