No @2508808688 to make and receive calls, send receive messages in the USA. You only needed the $15 10 day US roaming add on.
You can keep the $8 add on and use it to make calls from within Canada to the US. The 200 minutes will not expire and stay until used up.

No you don't need both. Roaming is for use in the states only. Everything else is for use only in Canada.
The $8 add-on is now kinda extraneous to you. If you don't have the $50 plan then you can keep it on your account for those occassions when you might want to call the states from Canada.

Public Mobile only works in Canada. There is one exception...roaming with roaming add-ons only for in the US. They all have US Roaming in the name as shown on the above image.

@2508808688 repeat the 2 step process buy the correct US 10 day roaming add on. If it includes data, enable roaming and restart your phone If not, just restart. You can keep the other add on purchased in error and use it to make calls from within Canada.

Ah. There's the problem. That add-on is not a roaming add-on for use in the states. You need a roaming add-on to make calls and send texts in the states.

Thank you. I did the 2 step process. I DID purchase the add-on AND it does appear on my account. I am calling from the US and every time I try a Canadian or US number I get a message saying my plan does not include US roaming. I really need to make calls today and this is frustrating. Thanks for any help.

What @Anonymous is getting at, in his reply, is the same thing as the 2nd post in this thread, i.e. buying any add-on is a 2 step process - you have to add the funds to your account, and then you have to go to the add-on page and select the appropriate add-on, and use the "Purchase", or "Buy Now" button(or whatever it's called, without actually going in there to check it out)..... it's not simply adding the appropriate amount of funds to your account, and assuming the system knows which add-on you want, simply based on the amount of funds you add.
The reason those questions were asked, and why I explained as above, is because this is a VERY common mistake made when attempting to buy an add-on.

If your username is your phone number you might want to get that changed.
Do you still see the amount you paid in your Available Funds?
Do you see the add-on listed under your data & add-ons on your self serve overview page?

I purchased 200 minutes of US talk about 30 minutes ago but it is not working. I turned the phone off and on again. What can I do?

When I added international minutes, it showed on my withinacvoubt within 30 minutes.

@quangdat17 When you buy it, it becomes available right away.

As soon as the addon is purchased it would be activated.
I recommend that you restart the phone once you do purchase it.

@quangdat17 deposit funds, buy addon. Its a 2 step process. Once you buy it, If you can see it in your self service account . You can use it. Its almost instantaneous.
