How is PM with iPhones ?

We are pretty sure we want to switch over, as we are not comfortable with how things are starting to go down at koodo… (they want to start automatic payments, and their prices are increasing…)

I learned that PM doesn’t support wifi calls or messages…. I’ve read through older posts, but wanted to know—have the iMessage and FaceTime been resolved? What are your experiences with iMessage, FaceTime, sms texting? I read that some people couldn’t even text non-iPhone users. I’m a little skeptical… It’s kinda holding me back from pulling the trigger. We’re expecting this summer, and I need a reliable provider. 

Both the husband and I have iOS. 

Any feedback is appreciated. You all seem like a lovely bunch. I love that there is a PM community here.

I have been with PM since 2021 on my iPhone X, iPhone 12, iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 14 Pro Max over the 5 years and no issues with iMessage or FaceTime. I also enabled RCS Messaging in my settings.

Our new PM accounts work without any issues at all. We get as good  5G reception as we did with our previous Bell provider.

However I hope that eventually PM will also provide  WIFI calling.

I’m just a lowly iPhone 15 Pro Max user and PM has worked flawlessly for me across Canada, the USA and Mexico

Yes, there’s no WiFi Calling or international roaming but these haven’t been an issue for me

Although I do have a 5G CA US MX plan, my iPhone is usually set to LTE as it allows better battery life plus my rural part of BC isn’t really 5G savvy

kewl username fer shur. I've been an iPhone user since I started with PM in 2018. Any issues have long since been cured. iMessage, RCS, and Facetime all work as expected. There's no wifi calling here...so there's that to consider.

Any and all customer support is done on-line and best initiated here in the Community Forum made up of users like you and me...sorta crowd sourced information usually resolves most issues in minutes.

no problem with iPhone on Public Mobile.  I have it and works without much issue

yes, no Wifi Calling and no Call Screening.
