How does Point System work.

Munchking

Hey, had public mobile a few years before and joined back again. How does the point system work for the community? Is it like if I answer questions, do I get points that will help decrease my monthly bill? I used to get like extra perks at the end of the year, like extra gigs. Though I don't need it due to my plan being great, just wanted to know how the pm has changed over the years. Also what towers do pm use in the US?

hi @Munchking if you use the app, you can access Rewards by going to the Rewards tab

if you use borrower, login to My Account first, then there is a Rewards link on top right of the page

OH I SEE!, Thanks for explaining it. I think the rank thingi is pretty fun lol. I jumped from New in Town to Good Citizen in a few days. The rewards account is different than the normal account?

hi @Munchking the rank or tier like Mayor really means nothing, just for fun.

answering 1 or 2 questions a day will likely get you 5 points for the month, but again it depends on the overall participation.  And remember, try not to give redundant answers as those don't count

1 point is $1.  But the point will be collected in your Rewards account.  You can redeem 15 points for $15 bill credit whenever you have collected enough points

Thanks, So basically, I don't actually get points per question I answer. It depends on how active I am? So Lets say I answer 1-2 questions per day will I be able to get around 5 points per month? And will it show in my bill? Finally , whats the teir method. Is Mayor the Top?

hi @Munchking not one question one point.  PM awards different level of points based on overall participation.

Usually easy to get 1 or 2 points per month, like around 5 mins of participation (answer questions) a week will do.  2 or 5 points might need 30 mins a week, but 10 or 15 points would be a lot more effort

And the easiest point to earn is in fact friend referrals.  Each friend you bring in will earn you 1 point per month.  More friends=more points with limit at 110 points per month

@Munchking  They use AT&T T mobile and Verizon in the U.S. and you now get 5% back on plan spend and all purchases like add ins , once a year you get 10 points back on your anniversary and frend refferals gives you 1 point for each friend every 39 days they say with PM once you have 15 points you can redeem $15 off your bill from the rewards portal  . You can also use points to buy add ons at discount and use them the points to enter draws when they have them . check the rewards portal catalog and browse the different options
