How do you get support from public mobile? Receiving endless messages from them.

I'm experiencing an error where they text me the same duplicate message every couple minutes, which had been going on for hours.

It's about not being able to send texts while traveling in the U.S. unless I add roaming. I am traveling in the U.S. however

A) I am not sending any texts. I accidentally sent an auto response to the first roaming message and have received this same reply since.

B) I did purchase the u.s. roaming add on.

The bot obviously it's not useful.

Thanks for your suggestions!

I did manage to submit a ticket.

Selecting roaming in self serve then making a payment for it added a credit to my account, but didn't actually add the roaming, so thanks for the tip on completing that process.

Texts from public appear to have slowed to a stop for now.

The original "ok" I accidentally replied to my "welcome to the us/roaming applies" message didn't remain in my message history after not sending successfully, so unfortunately I couldn't delete it, though I did delete the welcome message.

I considered texting stop, but I figured the stop text wouldn't send and  would only encourage the problem lol.

@ebagasan

Do you mean you received the texts from a shortcode?

If so, have you tried sending "stop" to that shortcode?

@ebagasan

Is your Roaming Setting turned ON? IF not, turn it on.

Do you see the Roaming Addon you purchased in your Overview section of your Self Serve account?

If so great; if not see below.

Note, that purchasing an add-on is a two step process.

You should be able to use it instantly.

1-First you need to add the $ to your account and

2-then add the add-on to your account. (this step is sometimes missed, but important)

*You can make the purchase via self serve account or by calling 611 on your phone.

@ebagasan

I would suggest you go the Simple--Simon route as currently I cannot illicit a reply from customer support via private messages. Please report back if you do get a reply via Simple--Simon. They will close support for the day in about 1 minute so expect a reply in the morning.

a) you accidently sent an auto response.. so, technically you did send text and hence causing the issue.  Can you go back to that first roaming text and delete it and delete your reply (auto response) as well?  it might help to stop

b) you bought the roaming? which roaming package you got?  phone only? text ? text and phone? or full roaming package?  did you try to logon to either AT&T or T-Mobile? you able to connect?
