Koodo does not support wearables either. I was with Koodo and could not connect my Apple Watch unless I switched to Telus (if I wanted to stick with a Telus company).

Sure, it does. There are many smartphone models available, some of which use standard SIM cards.

although eSIM is available on PM, but carrier actually need to invest more in infrastructure to support Apple Watch/Galaxy Watch/Pixel Watch, and none of the Tier 3 provider has put in the money for that. So, in short, PM does not support Google Watch, you will need to check with Koodo or Telus if you really want to activate eSIM on your Google Watch
