How can I activate my account and transfer my current number??

Very frustrating day for me. I created my account, they took my payment, and then, when I follow the steps, no matter how I try, I get a message saying "invalid IMEI". I can't get back into my account until my phone is activated. I waited 30 minutes for my turn online to be told by Fatima that she was just a Sales representative and she sent me here. Now what???

iphone or Android? If Android then go in to apps and find the Public app and go to storage and clear cache and data. Or uninstall and reinstall. Then try to login and get back to where you were for trying to port the number. It's much better to use the account number of your previous provider than the IMEI.
Then call the number further down this link and put the old sim back in a phone and wait for the confirmation text.
