How I earn points form community section ?

You've already started just by asking a question. Essentially it's based on your participation and contributions to the community. At first it would be about you learning about public mobile and how to manage your self serve account and your services. Once you start to gain more knowledge and feel more confident you will be able help answer other customers questions.

 

Public Mobile has gone thru many changes and continues with new plans and promotions, a redesigned community forum almost a year ago along with a completely redesigned self serve accounts in July of this year and the introduction of the points program in late January 2022. When changes like this occur we are all learning from scratch....the more curious will test out the new systems, find the glitches and figure out the workarounds.

 

Find your niche and play to your strengths and learn who the other members are that bring their own specialities so you can refer to them when you are unsure or just don't know the answers to certain questions. Or type the question in the search bar it's probably been asked and answered many, many times before with a little green checkmark beside it indicating a solution.

 

Don't be fooled by the most common solution....contact customer support. That could be 100% of the solutions but then we wouldn't need a community? Our goal is to try and resolve the issue or answer a member's question so that they don't need customer support at all. At the same time we help recognize when there is an account related issue that only customer support intervention can resolve. More often or not though the community will be on top of the latest procedures, glitches or methods that despite needing the assistance of a customer support agent (CSA) we will need to advise the customer what they need to ask for or how an issue needs to fixed.

 

So if you want to learn and be hands on with your public mobile service which will help you refer friends and family and not only help them but also help others in the community then you will likely enjoy your time here. As you post, read, reply, bravo, get bravoed, earn a solution, give a solution it all adds up as your contributions and a secret formula is applied to award a badge of contribution level and the corresponding points/$$ rewards. It's relatively easy to earn the lower levels of the top 50% and 25%, a fair amount of work for the top 10% and a true calling of dedication for the top 5% and top 1%.

You will find that the most effective way to earn points for Community participation is to be responsive and helpful to customer inquiries.

 

It is best to keep your responses on point.

 

Public Mobile uses a 'secret formula' to determine its contributor status rewards each month and it is based on the numbers of solutions you receive, the numbers of bravos you receive, and the number of posts you make.

 

Of course, your best chance at success is being quick on the draw when a question is posed as in most cases the OP (original poster) will select one of the first few responses as the solution.

It's entirely participation based, but small amounts paid out for this participating can require great amounts of time.  I would suggest that being here can be seen as a hobby and not for the monetary rewards.
