Good day.. I have paid for the $50 USA plan along with a SIM.. SIM still not here, Can I somehow go with the electronic SIM or is it too late?   Q2... I somehow had a typo in my first name "Petrr"   should have been PETER..  Can you fix as I cannot find a way.  I would like to activate ASAP.. and PORT my Current # .. is with Chatr now...

Changing name is easy: go to Profile and change account name on right hand side. Name really does not matter unless you need official receipt for tax or any other purpose. Correct name is useful if you have to contact agent and agents tries to verify your full name.

You can purchase eSIM (if your phone can handle it) or another physical SIM from ebay or any Telus/Koodo stores IF they HAVE it. You will be paying twice for the same 'hardware' but when first SIM arrives you will have spare one to give or sell. Mind you - eSIM is not transferrable and once installed on your phone - that's it. Physical SIM can be pulled out of a phone at any time and transferred into another (new or spare) and it will work right away. Decision is yours...

Another option for a physical sim is Amazon. It's only $5 and it's eligible for Prime delivery. esim option will work too, but I'm not a fan because it can't be transferred between phones (i.e. you'd need to buy a new esim every time you change devices).

yes, you can purchase an eSIM and use it for your plan if you prefer.

Another option is to go to a corporate Telus or Koodo location to pick up a Public Mobile physical Sim card

As far as amending your name, on your self-serve, go under your profile, and you can amend your name to whatever you want it there

@Mob16 You have 2 choices in this case, you can try with buying eSIM ($5 charge ) via the app or buy a new physical sim card from stores in person ($10)

To buy new eSIM, First, download the app on your new phone. For 2FA when you try to login, , you will need to click Didn't receive code? , then click Send email.  Once you logged 8n, click   or    at the bottom left to bring up the menu and go to Subscription & Add-on page, scroll down to the bottom and click Shop SIM Card Now.  You can buy and install eSIM from there

Or an easier way is to re-buy a physical sim card from local Telus/Koodo store, then login My Account and enter the sim card number you just got.
