@Galdiator hi if you are not a member then yes you need a Public sim and plan disregard my above post you can port your number during the activation process or take a temp number and then ask a moderator to port after as I suggested earlier

@Galdiator : You can also transfer your number over during the activation process.
Don't forget to use a referral code during activation to get a $10 credit.

Yes, a Public Mobile plan and account is needed to transfer a phone number here. A moderator is not needed if you ask for the port to occur during the activation. If you wish for a moderator to do it for you, they also would not be able to assist you unless you first have an active Public Mobile account.

Yes, you will need to obtain a SIM card. You can get one at Walmart or London drugs or through Public Mobile or through Canadian Cell Supplies.
I would recommend you click on the "Get Started" section at the top of the page and it will completely outline everything you need to do.

to contact a moderator to help with your port you can do so by clicking the chat bubble at the lower right corner,to avoid going around in circles with Simon say that you want a human to speak to, a ticket will then be generated briefly mention your issue port bell number
you should get a response between 2 to 48 hours a reply should show up in your little envelope in the top right corner, you can also send a private message to the Moderators by clicking here.

You don't need the PIN from Bell, and you shouldn't actually use it in combination with the Bell account number. Out of the two, use only the account number.
To start the porting process, go to https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot and type "port request". This is assuming that you have already opened a Public Mobile account and plan. If you haven't done that yet, you can request the number porting during the activation process.
