Help calling son's phone

I am suddenly unable to call my son's phone (we both on Public). It says "call can't be placed because US roaming no add on". We are both local Toronto phones. This just started today. Please help!!!

By chance, are you on the $15 plan with limited outgoing minutes? 

What about text and data?  Working properly?

Can you call other numbers besides your son phone?  

Maybe try rebooting both phones.

Also, check if both accounts are still active.  One of the accounts may be suspended.

@jnoestheden  This maybe just a error message but a indication that your account is on hold please log in and check if  the account is active or on hold . You can also do this by  *611
