Absolutely, totally agree they were vague, I mentioned manually searching for the Network as step one! 🙂

@anthrskywlkr while that's useful info, do note that APN only affects data (and MMS messaging). The OP was very vague, but I'd take their original post to mean that nothing is working including calling and SMS texting--which would mean APN (alone, at least) is not the issue.

It could also be, that you need to update the APN settings/search for the network manually.
In your phone settings under Mobile Network --> Carrier --> select Manually search for network and click on Public Mobile
For APN, it would be under Mobile Network --> Access Point Names
Add a new APN and enter the Public Mobile details -->https://apn-canada.gishan.net/en/apn/public-mobile
