Is there any way of getting a certain number
like if I provided phone number could it be searched an checked if it’s available

You might want to check which carrier owns the number you are looking at.

If the number is a Telus/Koodo/PM number and if it is not taken…There is a very slim chance you might get it.
You will need to contact a CS_Agent to see if you can get it but no guarantee.

add to what already said, another challenge to get an exact number you want is that no all numbers are owned by PM (or Telus family). So, that add to the trouble what number PM can actually assign to its subscribers

Going to have to say no to that. The only options you have is to choose a number when you start the service or port in a number after you started the service. You can change numbers up to 4 times per month. But for getting a specific number search, sadly that's not an option.
