alanbrenan, It is really not a discount. It's just a subtraction to make the total price to whatever they want to be at. When they launch a promo, they simply raise that discount with a separate tag/name, but the discount stays as is as long as you keep that plan. So far, they haven't raised the price for any non-legacy/pioneer plans.

In the near future, you will see some changes to the plan selection process where the total price will be the main focus to display.

Another note: discounts are locked in for the period you've pre-paid. In order to get the most out of a discount period, purchase the discounted plan, and then schedule a change to the same plan for the following month/three months using this option:

Just to make sure you understand @diml: The 1.5GB is for the period of 90 days (many people think it is per month)

The pick3 discount sometimes changes due to plan selected

Public has never advertised end dates

@diml,

The $60 discount you are seeing has no end date.  It is part of the pricing structure of Public Mobile.  If you sign up for talk, text, and data, you would get the biggest possible discount.  In some scenarios, for example, if you sellect talk and data, you can add texting for free.  It might actually be cheaper if you add the texting.
