Faulty sim card

I have checked everything recommended for no access to data on my phone and the only thing left is a faulty sim card.  The phone drops calls, had spotty service at times (in areas with lots of service) and now I cannot access data at all while away from wifi.  Is there anything I may have missed and if not how do I go about replacing the faulty card = Do I purchase a new one and will I get reimbursed if I do?

hi @Boblal

since you have a newer iPhone, so, it likely not a phone issue

you can try asking PM agent to refresh the account on the system.  If it is the same, you can ask them to reimburse you the cost for a sim card change

The sim was in an iPhone SE and I thought it might be the phone (old but still received current iOS updates) so I purchased an iPhone 15 pro from the Apple store and it does exactly the same thing on both phones (so I don’t think the phone is the issue).  No data, drops calls, can access some apps at times and then not at other times and no access to any data when away from wifi.  I am in Regina, Saskatchewan and I have not tried another sim but will do so tomorrow.
