As @Korth mentioned, this is not Europe and we will not see that pricing for several reasons.
Good luck with getting everyone to cancel their plans - too many data addicts out there, it's not going to happen. And even if it was possible, the big three know that after a day "everyone" is crawling back to them, begging for a plan at essentially any price.

You can try launching an online petition or social media campaign - lol, good luck.
This is not Europe. Here in Soviet Canada, data uses you. All hail our glorious Big Three comrades.

That is why Public Mobile exists, lol.
I view Telus/Koodo/PM as a single Telus Mobility entity running other brands as "departments" which target different customer groups. Few people sign up directly with Telus because their rates and plans are outrageous uncompetitive - but they set the bar (inflate the prices) so that the "lesser" brands look much more attractive. PM services a niche (captures customers who can't/won't/don't fit the mainstream) but Koodo is where Telus seriously expects to generate the mass of its wireless subscriber revenue.

But there are over 300000 customers on prepaid I think at koodo . I mean lots of folks not have good credit and folks on vacation need a quick service for accepting weeks prepay .

The plans they do not offer reveal much about their reasons for offering the plans they do.
Telus wants to move customers away from prepaid BYOD, towards postpaid Tabs. They make some money from you owning an unlocked device with the choice of continuing or abandoning or changing your service any time you like, they make more money from locking you (and your device) into a structured and subsidized long-term plan. If not in direct profits then in indirect revenues from padding up the numbers in accounting and stockholder reports.
