Face ID doesn’t work and asked to try later

My Face ID doesn’t work and asked to try later but it has do and still doesn’t work with no option to manually sign in

I'm not familiar with logging in using Biometric. Is this something that's available via Public Mobile or a function on my iPhone ? Sounds kinda techie to me and hope you or someone can clear it up for me. It would be handy if I could do this to impress all the oldsters down in the home !!  😊

@HughAndrews if the Face ID issue is about logging into PM app using Biometric , please uninstall PM app, and reinstall after device reboot and re-enabling biometric authentication on the Setting Menu

that's not a Public Mobile function. You can only sign in manually on laptop or using the mobile app. No face ID req'd. Try this..delete the mobile app..then get a new one from the App Store and try logging in again.
