Cell data not working

For the last few days I have not been able to access the internet using the Public Mobile cell network (using iPhone 16e).  My account says I still have lots of data available.  I spent a half hour with Apple support and they couldnt find anything wrong with the phone and asked me to check with my carrier.  I’ve reset phone network settings, and even wiped my phone completely to factory settings - still no cell access to internet. Can anyone help?

No other phone to try this on unfortunately

If you have an old cellphone handy, can you try your Public Mobile sim in that cellphone to see if any improvement (ignore this suggestion if using esim).

Yes - freezing cold but no outages I’ve heard of

so what general area are you in ? I live in the interior of BC and we recently had a dump of wet snow and wind so that power / internet was out for some folks for a few days.  I just saw you're in the flat-lands.

adding...is the problem confined to just your current vicinity or does things improve when you go for a drive around town ? Are there others nearby with whom you can compare service ?

Text messaging works fine, just no data on the cell network. Not aware of local outages (Saskatoon)

This has been going on for 3-4 days. I need to check if sms works on the cell network.  No problem with voice service

could be a local network outage or upset of some type. Where are you located ?  Does talk and text still work as expected ? Do others around you still have service ?
