Hello community. I activated a new PM account for my son's TCL Flip phone and everything works after a day. However, whenever I text to him (from my Android phone), he receives extra garbage characters after my text characters. (always 9 characters) For example: "Cool*/=UzB6lg" or "Hi*/=ldn3iA". The */= is common in all the text i sent him.
My wife texted to him from her PM, iPhone cell, there are no issues with those extra characters. If my son text to us, there are no issues either.
Can someone help me with this issue?

Those extra alphanumeric strings (like /=ldn3iA) at the end of your text messages are appended data used carrier’s network to properly route, track, or handle group messaging and images.
Try on the sender side:
Clear App Cache & Data: Go to your phone's Settings > Apps > Messages > Storage and clear the cache.
Update Carrier Services: For Android , check the Google Play Store for updates to Google Carrier Services app, which handles background messaging protocols.
Restart Your Device: to re-establish a clean connection to your local cellular tower and clear out any stuck network glitches.
Check for System Updates: Ensure your phone has latest OS and security updates

I'd try removing the Public Mobile sim and try it in a diff cellphone to see if the issue is cell related or activation related. I suspect it's a prob with your cell...but let us know.
