Does anyone know why my data is used when it's off? I'm currently using an Honor 8.

Just as my plan was renewed for this month I noticed a little over 5 MB was used. I've yet to turn on my data, I'm connected to the wifi, and my data saver is on..

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

@Quackers  That is normal as others have mentioned that data buffer is reserved by Public Mobile and will get released back to you so it doesn't count as part of you usage. You can safely ignore the 5MB.

@Quackers

As mentioned above, it is like data buffer.  No need to worry. It is not a continuous leakage of data.  It is well known to the community members on this forum.

@Quackers  there's a slightly over 5mb buffer that comes on whenever your data is enabled. It is returned slowly over time. To test this log into your self service account. You should see it. Place your phone in Aeroplane mode and refresh your self service account page. It should disappear. Then take your phone off Aeroplane mode or enable data. It should be back again. Stay safe.

Make sure you disable auto updates for apps and Turn off GPS.  Also make sure if your Wi-Fi signal is weak that your data is not enabled.
