Does Public Mobile text us using number "8001"

Hi, 

To make a long story short, I'm using my PM sim is inside a device without a screen and occasionally I get texts from number "8001". 

I just want to know if this is a public mobile communication or some other spam text message, as I'd like to stop it if possible .

I haven’t seen 8001. I have received PM messages from 100.

I have gotten messages form PM on 100, 5129, 5132 and 5133.  I haven't seen one from 8001 though.

I've also seen 100 and when I connected to AT&T in the states (without roaming) I got one from 7626.

Edit: and 5129 about CCTS (oh oh maybe I'll get a query about whatever I might be complaining about 🙂 )

Last edit I promise: and 5132 about the wireless code.

PM does text occasionally, but on my phone it comes up as 611. So 8001 is probably spam.
