I'm with Telus now and thinking of switching to PM. I use wifi calling a fair bit and was wondering if PM has it? If not, are there any plans to get it? Also does PM have visual voice mail or call control?

you are not comparing apple with appl. AT&T is not a Canadian service provider.

@dennisbaratta PM is prepaid, and usually wifi calling is for postpaid plants, for example from Rogers for wifi calling requirements "A monthly postpaid voice and LTE data wireless plan. Prepaid customers can't use WiFi calling." It may be trickling through to some tier 3 carriers but not PM so far, at least not yet. When choosing a carrier you have to check that what's important to you is included. Some of the other carriers may not allow US roaming for example (Lucky, PC Mobile) whereas PM does. There's a workaround with carriers that don't have wifi calling, download a free voip app like Fongo or TextNow.

not having calling over wi-fi is becoming a problem when traveling across the country, why is this not available to public mobile uses? is this just another way to get the customers to upgrade to a more expensive plan?

@samwise01 There's no visual voicemail or call control but PM does support Apple Live Voicemail for iPhones.

Unfortunately not at this time but there are rumours that it will be coming to PM.
