Should I use my phone app or my Messages app to set up call forwarding? I am just setting it up for TextNow when I need to use VoIP services when I have no service on my phone and need to receive a call.
The information that the ChatBot says is the same as the help article. Doesn't say whether to use the dial pad or the Messages app.
Also, does the 'Not Reachable' call forwarding one work when the phone has no service / is turned off?

I just decided to try a code that I found and it worked to get my text now number.

@softech - yes, I was excited for a moment, then disappointed with the result after trying it out.
I also hope PM fixes this, it has been a major issue of a fundamental thing that is ongoing for almost an entire year.

Oops, I may have not tested it... and it doesn't work. I have submitted a ticket to CS_Agent. I also didn't look above because it said that it failed to enable.

and your phone is using VoLTE on PM?

@fixin same, no difference
HOWEVER, Conditional forwarding was broken since the introduction of VoLTE. At this time, only Unconditional forwarding works.
Some said agent might be able to fix it on the system if your are using VoLTE. We don't have confirmation on this. You can check with agent and report back.
