The plan I had renewed  yesterday I haven't used my phone and it tells me I've used 16 to get gigs of data already I don't get it how is that possible.,?

I'd suggest clearing the app cache and log in again to see what the stats tell you. Sometimes it's readings from the night before.

Login to your account and check the Usage History to see what it was used for.
