Have data in account.
No limits on phone.
Tried all steps suggested including resetting network settings ... Android phone.

I ended up contacting Samsung's customer support. It took a while and once I got to talk to someone they tried to walk me through all the steps I already tried. Finally(!!!) they suggested a factory reset. I was a bit dubious but that *did* fix the problem and data worked *immediately* after the factory reset without needing to do any APN setup or anything with the automatic settings (as it used to). Go figure. Just in case someone else hits the same problem...

tried removing sim card again and hard restart by holding volume down and power button. sim card status says: "Mobile network state: Connecting" and data network type LTE.

hmm. apn settings are ok. data is on. but there was a software update to the phone .. samsung android go. i wonder if thats what broke this.

has worked for years. same phone. data shows as active in my account. more than 2GB on it. stopped working last week. not sure exactly when since i dont use it all the time.

thanks for the advice guys. plenty of data on my account. text and voice works. data seems to have stopped working recently. i dont use it every day so im not sure exactly when and im on the road without another phone...

@Ghostyzf - are your calling and texting services working okay?
If you see data left on your self serve account, and your phone is not set to a data limiter, try your SIM card into another phone to see if data works.
If data still does not work, check for outages in your area:

check your self serve acct, if you cannot see a line "data", it means you already used up. and you can purchase add on.

@Ghostyzf You see data available under My Data/Add-ons on your overview page of account? Did the data work before and suddenly stop?
You do have data enabled right? Also perhaps it could the APN settings need to be updated..here's a link to the APN settings: https://apn-canada.gishan.net/

@Ghostyzf are you new to public has data workrd here before? check in your self serve tunder data and add ons there should be a line there for data if not it's used up
