Data not starting at 0 on new cycle

If it is showing a 5420KB of usage that means the data is buffered (and ready for use) but it not means you already used it. Might be the most relevant sign your data is working, and for what is buffered, if not used, will be eventually stored back (the next renewal of your plan will push it and let you use, and so not any byte will be lost).

@talia   You can also try rebooting your phone after toggling the data/airplane mode on/off.

Just want to clarify the amount you see.  Are you seeing just over 5 mb being used after renewal?  Because that is normal, but if it's more than that then send a message to moderators via SIMon ? mark bubble bottom right of the screen to submit a ticket.

That is normal, you can try turning the data on and off, and also airplane mode on/off.  This should reset the data.
