Additional Info: Cookies and cache are not set to be cleared on any of the devices we use. Thanks for your replies, but I think I will just live with the minor annoyance.

................................

I transferred my husband to PM a year and a half ago. During this time when I sign in PM sends me a code to enter - I constantly tick off this is a trusted device, but that makes no difference. It happens no matter if I am on my iPhone or iPad.

I just transferred myself over to PM and the same thing happens with my sign in.

Is this a common issue? Anything I can do to get PM to accept our devices as trusted?

Not a huge problem and I can live with it if I have to - but just checking if there is a solution.

I use Safari and my spouse uses Opera. Neither are set to clear cache. Thanks.

Thanks but clear cache not enabled. PM is the only site that I have this issue with but good to know I am not they only one.

I have a Mac Mini using safari. 3 PM accounts all work based on trusted device. But iPad on safari on private requires second factor. And my PM account receives the text for second factor.

What browser so you use?  Some browser has the Clear cache on exit enabled by default

You probably have it in your settings somewhere that delete cookies when you close your web browser. In order to save as trusted device you need the cookies saved on your phone.

Based on my experience on Trusted Devices. I found out that it depends whether you are connected to home wifi, public wifi or data.

It seems that I automatically login to my account when I am connected to home wifi, CIBC or Scotia Bank, Rogers wifi but I need the 2FA code when connected to Starbucks or Telus wifi.

So based on when you initially click on Trusted Devices and which wifi.

it's been a problem for others as well. To troubleshoot...make sure that web settings aren't set to clear browser history when you close that session.

I use Firefox on the web version and that only happens maybe once every few weeks. If I use a different web browser, it requires 2FA frequently.

Not sure if this helps, but that's my input.

Did you click the "Trusted device.." option at the 2FA screen?

And make sure you are not using "clear cache in exit " with your browser.   Even you are using app, if your default browser has that settings, it will not remember your "trusted device " selection
