check your settings to ensure both iMessage and SMS/MMS are enabled, as iMessage only works between Apple devices.
And to set up RCS on an iPhone, make sure you are running iOS 18 or later and have a compatible carrier. Go to Settings , click Apps , then Messages, there turn on RCS Messaging
