Chatroom or IRC?

Can we set-up an IRC on the freenode network to offer direct Peer-2-Peer Support?

As long as you're happy with unofficial peer to peer support from community members, and not the mods.  There is no way they'd be able to keep up with an IRC channel with people constantly pinging them for help.  They can't even keep up with PMs on the forums right now.

maybe not officially but something we can kinda offer for basic questions, maybe even Simon the bot could participate in giving the same answers or learn.

IRC can be way too chaotic.  I don't think any company would ever consider using it officially.
