Changing plans

If I change plans with public, am I automatically signed up for points or can I still keep my rewards and not do points? 

From what I hear, points isn't worth it? And it's best to just keep your rewards you have?

@Ish99  you can keep your old rewards there tied to your account not your plan . You can freely change  plan to what ever one you like best I can confirm I change plans often and always kept mine , you have to voluntarily change to points and it’s a one way street just don’t do it . You can never go back to old rewards
