Changed phone number in self-serve and can't use phone

I changed my phone number last night online and the 1st number I accepted ended up belonging to someone else. Went back online and changed again, this time I tested it by trying to make a phone call in which it drops the call right away. Can't text or anything now. Tried rebooting phone, resetting network settings and removing Sim and putting it back in/turning phone back on. Please help!

If you kept screenshots of your actions you should report it to agent asking why active phone numbers appear as available.

It will not hurt and they might find some flaws in PM system.

@Adam_40 - number change through your account should be pretty quick to take effect.

 

Maybe try changing it again.

You are allowed to change your phone number up to 4 times every 30 days after you’ve activated.

Ask a custoemr support agent for help. Go to https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html and tell the bot no service.  It will give you the option to contact a customer support agent.
